I have been promoting affiliate products for more than 8 months, without one single sale. My website is http://rudyshealthproducts.webs.com I advertised, I wrote all kind of articles, I joinrd Herbalbiz http://rudysherbalstore.com and even had a thousand visitoes a day going to that website. I joined the Wealthy Affiliate, followed all their advices. How come I never ever made one single sale?
Is affiliate marketing just one cruel joke? Everybody in my family think I'm an absolute nut!

Yea I was just listening to a couple of English affiliate guys doing an interview about affiliate, the gut made it sound like you couldn't help but make $50 a week on a site, that went on to talk about one $500 site being more convenient than 10 $50 sites., Hmm must be the niche.

Yahoo site explorer says your has 6 external links, 2 from your articles, sure could use more...

Some talk about first spending the first 6 to 12 months developing traffic.

3 Tactics to Increase Sales in Affiliate Marketing

1. Use unique web pages for each separate product.

It is a good tactic to have one site for each product than lumping all of the products together in a single site just to save money on web hosting.

2. Offer free reports.

By sending useful information to the readers' inbox once they subscribed to your site, you will be constantly reminding them about the product and more likely the sale will be closed later on. According to research, a sale is usually closed on the seventh contact with a prospect.

3. Get the kind of traffic that has interest on your specified product.

If the people who will visit your website has no interest in whatever product you offer, they will simply leave and never come back. Therefore it is very important that you get the kind of traffic that is the target market of your product.

I took a look at your site the one thing that I saw is that it is way to long keep the word count down to 500 to 700, people get bored if it's to long they read 25% slower online then they do when reading a book. I don't know if every word link you have on the site goes to a product I didn't want to be there forever clicking on every link to see where it went. If they are all links to products then you have way to many. I would break it down and create more websites and distribute the other products into them. From what I'm understanding you have the a couple websites?, that's not good. 1 in 5 websites will not make money so keep that in mind, the more websites you have the better off you are. Understand you have to keep building links to your sites don't ever stop it's an ongoing process the sites that do well have built up thousands of links over time and you will too this is a job and you have to work.

Now don't freak out about the more websites, your probably thinking "I have to spend more money?". No you don't, I'm sure you are paying for your domain name and hosting right now for the sites you currently have but stop right there, keep it, but from here on out create your sites on Google Blogger IT'S FREE. You can start all your sites there and see what works first, when you have a site that creating income mimic that same style on another blog. Before I get to far take a look at other sites that are doing the same thing (health Products) it'll give you some ideas that's how others do it is they copy successful websites. After that if the site makes good money then purchase a domain name for it this way your not spinning your wheels and throwing good money after bad.

The other thing I see is that you have products in there that have nothing to do with health, I would ditch those items and keep on the path. The site looks pretty erratic also, clean it up and make it look more professional. Again look at site that are selling health products. I can't quite tell what you are using for your site if it's Word Press or someone Else's software, I could be wrong but I suspect that it's some other software, usually if it's Word Press it will say so at the bottom of the page and all you have is 2009 and nothing to the effect of who owns the site or rights. My suggestion is if you don't want to use blogger then use Word Press, Just for the fact if you do get a domain name and hosting you can move it to different providers. Some software will not function on another hosting provider then your screwed an have to create the site from scratch again.

Another thing, not everyone is going to make money right away, if you were told that then they lied, yes there are some that get lucky a make money more quickly than others but that doesn't happen to everyone. So you don't think I'm talking out my a-s I'm doing the same thing (affiliate marketing) and mine follows that program, dealing in building a home based business offering information products that people can use to learn about marketing that business plus software and online tools and providers of hosting, domain names, auto responders, website building tools, and E-faxing. Everything pertains to an online business. I also checked on the products and made sure that they had good customer reviews. Tough it out, it takes time the only way you will not succeed is if you quit. Don't feel bad I did mine the hard way and started an LLC first and found out later that I could have started everything for very little money and when I start to make good money notice I didn't say if, then I could have initiated the incorporation later but what's done is done and I'm not going to cry in my soup just make the best out of it.

Oh yeah as of Dec. 2009 websites have to have a disclosure or fine print on them so you might want to take care of that. Check out my site, I have 4 of my own products that I have resell rights to and all the rest is affiliate marketing. The 4 of mine have canned ads with them and some are a little long in the tooth. Read them and see if you start to get bored with them, if you do then you'll know what I'm talking about when I say it's way to long. I contemplated changing it out but for now it stays as is. I have another site in the works and plan to have a whole lot more it just takes time. I'll leave the URL below for the one you can check out. I can go on forever and not get all the information to you so if you want to chat email me at mikem0868@yahoo.com.

Good luck to you if I don't hear from you

Affiliate Marketing works if you do things right ... Ignore any so-called training wealthy affiliate gives you. First of all do you have a blog installed ? If not you need to get a blog installed and post those articles to your blog.

Next bookmark those articles on your blog use sites such as clipmarks.com, digg.com, faves.com, mixx.com, mister-wong.com, and other bookmarking sites.

Next post you article to article direcories

* http://www.articleproductions.com

* http://www.articlesbase.com

* http://www.amazines.com

* http://www.goarticles.com

And other article directories. Make sure your resource box points back to your blog, not to the same article but to another related article pushing the affiliate product. Once done then bookmark the articles on the article directories.

Next take your Rss Feeds from your blog, bookmarking sites, and article sites and submit then to Rss Feed Directories such as http://www.feedage.com and others, you can search google for Rss Directories and find a bunch.

Once done then you want to go create hubpages, squidoo lenses, and other web 2.0 profiles and link those back to your blog. Do not forget to bookmark these and submit their rss feeds also.
