I want to get started in affiliate marketing and don't know where to turn there is just so many?

websites offering advise and so many so called expert offering advice and offers charging 100's or 1000's of dollars for their fool proof systems promising the moon and stars both. I know that there is money to be made with affiliate marketing and there are people who at one time was just starting out not knowing much about the subject could I ask some of you more experienced affiliate marketers your advice on legitimate websites offer honest and straight forward advice on getting started, you guys where beginners too at one time could some one please point me in the right direction? I have been doing affiliate marketing for three years now. I work a full-time job and have a family so I can't invest the time into affiliate marketing that I'd like to but I am consistently making an extra $300 monthly and I'm seeing more and more traffic to my websites. I know if I could do it full-time, I'd be making a lot more money. I really enjoy it...it's a lot of fun.



I actually pay a monthly fee ($39, $29 if you pay for a full year) to be a member at Wealthy Affiliate. They teach you everything, and I mean everything, you need to know to become a successful affiliate marketer. This site is great and I wouldn't recommend it if I didn't think it's the best resource online to learn affiliate marketing. I've written a couple of articles about it explaining what they offer if you're interested.

Firstly, you're are absolutely right in saying there is money to be made in affiliate marketing. But definitely don't believe any of these "fool-proof" systems. Affiliate marketing, like anything else, takes hard work and determination. But if you're willing to put in the effort, the rewards can be great.



You should start with a lot of the free learning material that's out there. I'd be wary of buying a course or something when you're just starting out... you've got to know the basics first! And the more you understand the underlying concepts of affiliate marketing, the better you'll be able to discern the good courses from the money wasters.

Registration's free and the training material is really simple to follow... it's specifically written for people who are new to the affiliate marketing game.



Also, you should try to subscribe to as many blogs about affiliate marketing as possible. If someone is offering an educational course for money, it may well be worth it, but I would subscribe to their blog for at least a few weeks to see if their material is actually useful, or if they're just trying to make a buck.



Most of what you need to learn to get started you can learn for free.
