Any company you associate yourself with will probably make money if you work your business.
Most part time home based or network marketing business owners fail because they don't treat it like a business.
Before you start looking for a company you need to determine several factors about how you are going to operate your business:
1. How many hours per week are you going to work? What days, what hours?
2. What tools do you have to help you in operating your business?
3. What business skills do you have?
4. How much money can you budget for your business operations, including advertising and marketing.
After this --- then start looking for a company that you would like to represent. Before you join...learn "EVERYTHING" about the company, its products and compensation plan.
Don't just ask the distributor trying to get you to join..but rather call the company and verify everything he/she tells you. Ask the company's distributor services department your questions.
Look for a company that promotes getting customers rather than just distributors.

Good Luck.
