I want to know the relative marketshare of MP3 players in the US and WW for the last 3 years. Text and links to data sources is preferred

This is becmoing a difficult question to answer what with flash-based mp3 players (e.g., iPod nano) gaining in popularity. I'll take a shot.



It appears that in the US, the iPod has 75%-80% of the market (see top 2 links below).
