according to this source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Relationship_marketing RM emphasis is on building longer term relationships with customers rather than on individual transactions.
according to this source: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Customer_relationship_management CRM ... to manage their relationships with customers, including collecting, storing and analyzing customer information.
Therefore, i guess the difference is that RM is focused on the building the relation itself while CRM is more focused on how to maintain that relation
Frankly, i think it is a question of choosing some terminology and betcha often they are used interchangeably.

CRM systems can be very effective solutions for managing sales cycles, but using current CRM point solutions will not build and manage an entire customer experience. There is promise, however. While traditional CRM systems have lacked the ability to encompass the full realm of business processes, new technologies are emerging
Relationship marketing is a form of marketing that evolved from direct response marketing in the 1960s and emerged in the 1980s, in which emphasis is placed on building longer term relationships with customers rather than on individual transactions. It involves understanding the customer's needs as they go through their life cycles. It emphasizes providing a range of products or services to existing customers as they need them.

CRM includes collection of data about customers, segmenting them logically and targeting the right kind of marketing programs.
RM executes the strategies of CRM. RM has direct contact with theclients or customers.
A simple and crisp statement can be "CRM is conceiving a strategy and RM is executing it"

ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) is a general term for a software that is used to coordinate a large amount of the data needed to run a business. It usually handles things like inventory, purchasing, order entry, manufacturing, financials, etc. CRM is a system used to handle the data related to contacts with current and perspective customers. An ERP system may contain CRM functions.
