An ISP = Internet Service Provider.

Yahoo does not offer internet service...that is you cannot pay them to help you get your computer online.

So you can't get Yahoo as an ISP.

Popular home ISPs are Time Warner Cable, Road Runner, Earth Link, AOL, etc. Popular TYPES of home ISP are Cable, DSL, Dial-Up, etc.

Yahoo! does not offer direct ISP services but is a partner with various providers, including SBC and Verizon in the US, Rogers in Canada and BT is UK. If you get your broadband services through anyone of these providers, they will automatically include Yahoo! as your default portal combined with Yahoo! Premium services such as larger email accounts etc.
