Question:
MLM Genealogy Leads: Do MLM Genealogy Lists Work?
2013-10-24 12:00:46 UTC
I’ve been involved with a network marketing company for about a year. I’ve burned through my warm market and am looking for other ways to build my MLM business. I’ve been doing some research on MLM genealogy leads and wanted to see if anyone has any experience working these types of lead lists.

From what I’ve read online, some network marketers love MLM genealogy leads while others say they don’t work. Please share your experience if you have actually worked a real MLM genealogy report before.

Recruiting from MLM genealogy lists is one of the many strategies I use to build my home business. I’ve been network marketing for several years and prefer MLM genealogy leads over opportunity seeker leads. That doesn’t mean that this is the only way I build my business though. I also have a capture page setup and generate a few of my own leads from advertising online.

If you are going to buy an MLM genealogy list though remember that you will get what you pay for. There are some good network marketing downline lists out there and there are some that are absolutely worthless. I would suggest talking to Josh over at ExplosiveGenealogyLeads.com. He’s been doing this for years and doesn’t re-sell lists over and over again.

Having success using MLM genealogy leads depends on a few things. First, you need to have a good MLM genealogy report that hasn’t been hammered with calls and isn’t super old. Second, you need to be willing to pick up the phone and make calls. Many people who say MLM genealogy leads don’t work have never really worked them correctly. If you are scared of the phone than this isn’t the strategy for you.

If you are willing to put in the time, get a good list and actually work it correctly the results are worth it. It doesn’t take that many new recruits to have a huge impact on your business.

MLM genealogy Lists does work. It's how you approach the prospect when you are calling them. Of course, you will get people who are not interested at all. But, all you need is a few and it's a numbers game. These people have already have some experience in the MLM network. I am in a company, which actually advocate us using MLM genealogy lists because this is how the CEO built his previous downline before having his own company.

When it comes to “cold” leads (meaning leads that aren’t calling you) I like MLM genealogy leads over the other lead choices out there. I think it’s best to target people that fit the description of who you would like in your business. Do I want someone who is broke and looking for a job? Of course not… Unfortunately that’s what most biz opp seeker leads are.

It’s a much better strategy to go after people who have owned a business in the past or participate in outgoing and ambitious industries like mortgage brokers, real estate agents, etc.

The concept of recruiting from MLM genealogy lists is to prospect people that have owned an MLM business in the past. Are they all going to be interested in what you have to offer? Of course not, BUT just like working any type of lead, it’s all a numbers game.

My wife is into network marketing too and she has been doing some research on MLM genealogy recently. Although she is not an expert in this and she's taking help from a couple of sample cases like http://marionscales.com/ for online marketing, but she's progressing at a faster pace. It's only the internet you can take help from and I wish you best of luck for that.

I purchased a MLM genealogy list before and it sucked. Guess that’s what you get when you spend $50 on a list of 25,000 people though ;-)

I believe they work. You must have patience, desire and good work ethic to stick to calling these people and getting more no's than yes. I just started my 90 day blitz on 1/2/14. I am doing it because I have a goal and no matter what other people say, I will achieve it.

Send me a message if you want more info on in dept training on this.

Remember, only people that commit to goals succeed.
